Adam: Focus. What a strange name. I did not think of this name, it came with the model. But then I do like to keeps things in focus as much as possible so it’s a pleasant name for me as a photographer. Every once in a while I come across a model that has some kind of glamour voodoo going on I would like to share.Focus is a professional model with lots of magazine credits to her name. She is also one of my favorites. She is all natural for you replacement parts experts. She can do any style in front of the camera from Marylin Monroe to Traci Lords poses. She does not like to smile. One strange thing I can tell you is that she never said a word to me in an entire day of shooting other then thank you when she was paid. So she remains a mystery and maybe it’s better that way.

Kim Ok Bin
Kim Ok-bin (born in 1986) is a Korean actress and model who was voted Hottie of the year 2006 by M-net. When she won the honor of being the co-host for the annual M-net music festival, she decided to do something in the opening of the festival as a host. While supporting her, M-net put some of her moves on the air to help promote the festival.

Pubes or no pubes?
Beautiful Japanese model Megumi Osawa, who we have featured once before, shows us her pretty face and great figure along with a massive amount of pubic hair.
The reason I post this photo is that every time we feauture a model with more hair then the ‘landing strip’ style, a discussion arises about the pubic hair. I think here in the West the ‘brazilian wax’ style (also known as the ‘lolita’ look) is very fashionable and I must say I prefer this clean style for various reasons. But it seems in Asia this style is not yet adopted.
I was hoping to finalize this discussion in this thead. So ppl, what is your preferred style?
Koyuki Katou
Gaining her first exposure to Western audiences in Edward Zwick’s 2003 film The Last Samurai (2003), Koyuki was well-known in Japan for years before that for her commercial work on Japanese television. She first caught the attention of the public in 1997 by winning an exclusive modelling contract with the magazine Non-no, but quickly grew beyond modelling and has earned acclaim as an actress through her many roles on Japanese tv and in several Japanese films.

Blonde asians?
Ricebunny (Michelle Phan, featured on Asian Sirens June 18), posted a question about asian hair color (on Xanga) and got over 200 comments. She said that Ayumi Hamasaki (pictured) can pull it off, but that “an asian girl with blonde hair can look very slutty.”
What do you, the readers of Asian Sirens, think?I personally prefer long thick straight dark black hair, a look that many asians (but not many others) have down. This photo of Ziyi Zhang gives you an idea of what I’m thinking (although I suspect that everyone reading Asian Sirens knows what I mean).
A common sentiment was that the urge to try blonde reflects submission to the “stereotypical western concept of beauty.” There was an event in which Japenese women wore, and then discarded, blonde wigs (Tokyo Times, April 14, 2005) and photographer Rob Lange created a gallery with 17 photos of blond Japanese in 2001.
Since some of you want to see what Michelle meant by slutty, I thought I’d include this picture of Miko Lee.
