The Women of Kaba Modern (As Featured on America’s Best Dance Crew)

image

Kaba Modern was started in 1992 by a group of Filipino dancers for a performance at a local Pilipino (Filipino) Culture Night and has since evolved into what it is today: “One of the most cutting-edge hip-hop troupes in California.” There’s not much to see on their webite, it’s actually more like Kaba Modern’s online mission statement.Although they did not win the competition these three were first in my heart!

Yuri Tag (Korean) is actually quite popular now, outside of Kaba Modern. She’s got a fansite dedicated to her in the works right now and I believe she has done some personal appearances as well.

Cindy Minowa (Japanese) is my favorite of the three. There is just something about her that gives me a little something-something, ya know? I know she’s got a great body and a killer smile… but that’s not all there is to it… interesting… haha!

Jia Huang (Chinese) seems like the shy type, maybe that’s why I can’t find much on her. I really like her eyes though.. very nice.

Here is Taeko Carroll (Japanese) from the group: Fysh N Chicks. My brother saw her and was done… haha! I found some nice ones of her… yay! I think she looks like a much hotter version of the actress who plays Velma in the Scooby Doo movies. Watch out for the last pic, it may cause a nose bleed!

Asian Panty Peeks – Website

image

I guess you could call AsianPantyPeeks.com a fetish site, although it’s quite mild compared to some of the really bizarre fetish sites out there. They also have a Blog Site with more preview images. Some of their models are very cute, but the photography and web layout could be improved. For a few more samples, click

Michelle Branch: Singer/ Songwriter/ Hottie & Surprisingly Part Asian

image

I hope that none of you are going to be disappointed with me for posting mixed women here on A-S. Being mixed myself, I do feel quite an attraction to others of mixed Asian descent.

I always thought there was more to Michelle Branch’s brunette beauty. Until recently I presumed she was just a wonderful mix of white and European. It turns out both her maternal grandparents are half Indonesian, yay for us!

This Cancer (July 2, 1983) was named after the Beatles Michelle and has been an active singer/ songwriter since she was young. At the tender age of 8, Michelle was taking voice lessons and after receiving her first guitar from her uncle when she was 14, emerged from her room days later having composed her first song dedicated much?

Below is one of my favorite songs by Michelle Breathe from her Hotel Paper album

After playing in clubs for a few years Branch independently released her first album Broken Bracelet in 2000 and while opening for Hanson (NOT Asian; NOT Sirens, although the keyboard player (Taylor Hanson) looks kinda like a girl haha) signed a deal with Maverick Records.

In 2005 Michelle and long time friend and collaborator Jessica Harp (also NOT an Asian Siren) formed The Wreckers (short for The Homewreckers, a nickname given to the two by Michelles husband more on that in a sec) and released Stand Still, Look Pretty (pictured above). The duo joined country music stars Rascal Flatts and Gary Allan on a sold out U.S. tour and in December 2006, the Wreckers were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for the song “Leave the Pieces”.

Michelle married her bass player Teddy Landau (19 years older than her pictured below) and together they have a baby girl named Owen (isn’t that a boy’s name???) Isabelle.

Fast Times With Phoebe Cates

image

While not exactly an Asian Siren, Phoebe’s roots are Chinese/Filipino and Russian/Jewish, a lethal combination not unlike that of the lovely Maria Ozawa!

Born in NYC on July 16, 1963 no one knew that she would turn into the 5’ 6” Snow White of a woman that she was, and still is today. She studied ballet at the School of American Ballet in NYC until she suffered a knee injury that started her on her path to the silver screen. Like most of the women on AS she was a model and did some TV commercials as well. Her big break came when she played the part of Sarah in the 1982 movie “Paradise” a knock off of “Blue Lagoon” (Brooke Shields, NOT an Asian Siren).

Phoebe Cates-Fast Times At Ridgemont HighCelebrity bloopers here

The actress formerly known as Phoebe Cates has been in other movies like Gremlins and Gremlins II, but the one we all remember the best is Fast Times… C’mon now! You can’t honestly tell me (the guys at least) that you watch Fast Times at Ridgemont High for any other reason than Phoebe Cates! Well, I watch it because I love the 80s and because it’s crazy funny, too. Every time Comedy Central shows it I have to run to my computer and see Phoebe’s boobies again. Science damn it, she’s got quite a pair! While not button busters they have got to be one of the most perfect pair I have ever laid eyes on

Alas one day in nineteen-eighty-nine
Sweet Phoebe was taken from the world of men
And turned into a Kline…

Phoebe Cates has been married to actor Kevin Kline since 1989 and they have two lovely children, Owen and Greta. And she’s still hot!

A Look Into Japanese Vaudeville: The Sexy Nipple Dance

Vaudeville: a light often comic theatrical piece frequently combining pantomime, dialogue, dancing, and song.I thought this was worth a peek. It’s funny and sexy at the same time. Vaudeville has never been a personal interest of mine but it’s amazing what you can find on youtube when you’re bored. I was curious to see what others here at A-S would think about it.

I couldn’t get over the faces of the two with short hair! They’re so serious, I wonder how much trouble they had keeping straight faces. The one with the curly hair was smiling and making all kinds of faces, I guess it was part of the show since she was the odd one.

Sadly, the website of this troup is not in English so I don’t know the names of the three featured here. Perhaps, we’ll get by with a little help from our friends? (McCartney/ Lennon… sorry Yoko)
