Actress and model Jeannie Millar (or Jeannie Mae Millar), born on August 11, 1974 in Thailand, is not like any woman you have ever met before. Even after knowing her, she still remains a mystery and that is probably what makes her so fascinating. Jeannie is certainly one of the most beautiful women in the world with a unique combination of elegance and vulnerability. But it is more than that. Somehow when you meet her, she has a way of touching your soul. Her life story is very complex, filled with both tragedy and triumph.

Due to a serious illness in her family she just recently told her fans on her official website jeanniemillar.com that she has to put her career on hold, if not permanently leave.

Lisa Marie Scott was born on February 1, 1974 in Pensacola, Florida and moved several times during her childhood. She moved from Florida to Guam, San Diego, Virginia, Japan, Hawaii and finally, during her junior high school years, Southern California. Her constantly moving childhood was due to her father’s position as a military physician. In high school, she was picked as Homecoming Queen and in February 1995 she was given the honor of being Playboy’s Playmate of the Month.

I found this Thai beauty on a poster of Ultimate DJ Gear which was on the door of a DJ store here in Amsterdam. So I decided to check her out.

Born in Thailand she grew up on a farm in poverty. Before 2001 she had never heard club music. Only when a model job brought her to Europe, she had her first club night and decided to change her career from modeling to DJ’ing. She bought turntables, and only two years later she was already touring the world. The former farmgirl became a global DJ within only 3 years. In 2004 alone she played over 110 performances in 19 nations – most of them in leading clubs (her style: Hardtrance and Trance). Nakadia is now a DJ booked out months ahead and constantly traveling the world. (Check her tourdates to see if she will spin some tunes in your neighbourhood! ;-))

She still loves to model, but after her big success as a DJ started, she is only available for some selected shootings now and then. (Experience: around 200 shoots in Thailand, Itay, France, Germany, Austria and Holland).

Shu Qi

There was a time when Asian movies were something you only saw on old scratched VHS tapes, and they were hard to come by. That changed with the arrival of the DVD format. Soon Asian films reached the far corners of the world, and everywhere people started to realize that the region had something truly unique to offer. And in this case I don’t mean only cheap DVD’s 😉

One of my all time favorites is Li Lin Hui better known as Shu Qi or Hsu Chi. Shu Qi was born on April 16, 1976 in Taiwan and with a face and body to die for she started modelling at age 17. It didn’t take a long time before Hong Kong producer Manfred Wong tracked her down and became her agent. He signed her for Sex & Zen II and the rest is history.
