Jeannie Mae Millar
Jeannie Mae Millar (August 11, 1974; Ubon, Thailand) is not like any woman you have ever met before. Even after knowing her,
she still remains a mystery and that is probably what makes her so fascinating. Jeannie is
certainly one of the most beautiful women in the world with a unique combination of
elegance and vulnerability. But it is more than that. Somehow when you meet her, she has
a way of touching your soul. Her life story is very complex, filled with both tragedy and
triumph.
Jeannie's father served in the US military for 27 years and met her mother, Jomsri, while
serving in the Marines in Thailand. Her mother passed away at the age of 28, leaving
Jeannie, 3 months old, and brother Robert, 1 1/2 years old, motherless to be taken care of
by their father. He remarried shortly afterwards and the family then moved to the United
States when Jeannie was 3 years old. Moving around a lot, they finally settled in Las
Vegas where she spent most of her childhood and young adult life. She was on the honor
society and always did well in school up until the time her father married wife number 4.
Troubles escalated in the family. Feeling abandoned by her father, she went out on her own
at the age of 16 with her boyfriend whom she later married at the ripe old age of 17. The
marriage lasted less than a month leaving Jeannie out on her own once again.
Jeannie didn't live a sheltered life but was still naive about the realities of the world,
especially the Las Vegas nightlife. With no other alternative, Jeannie moved in with her
girlfriend whose mother introduced her to exotic dancing. This gave her a place to live, a
sense of stability and new friends. However, this lifestyle was not for her and she began to
feel trapped.
In order to get her off the road she was going down, a close friend of hers entered her into
a swimwear competition held in Los Angeles. Winning or losing wasn't the objective. It was
to prove to her that she could compete with beautiful women from across the United States.
She ended up exceeding even the wildest of expectations. Winning the contest led to the
cover on the July 1994 issue of Swimwear Illustrated. She then moved to Los Angeles to
pursue a career in acting where she met Craig Nevius, an established screenwriter, who
asked her to audition for his film, Lady Killer starring Ben Gazzara. She won the role of
Nikki and received her SAG card as a result. Three months later she landed the lead role of
Janna in Starquest II. While on the set, she met Morgan Carey, a record producer and brother
of Mariah Carey, and they began dating several months later. Three weeks after their first date,
he flew her to Hawaii to celebrate both of their birthdays. While on vacation, Morgan proposed
marriage. Jeannie, being the hopeless romantic, accepted. They were married 2 days later on
the island of Kauai. So it was on to marriage number 2. This one also lasted less than a
month. She soon filed for divorce.
Shortly thereafter, Craig wrote her as "Giggles" in the script of Black Scorpion II.
She began auditioning and got a small part in Facade with Eric Roberts and
discovered the game show world. On her brother's first trip to LA, Jeannie took him to
The Price Is Right. Her bubbly personality came through and she was picked as a contestant.
She won a TV, a chair, and a barbecue set. This came in handy because it was the first
"furniture" she had for her new apartment in Beverly Hills.
In early 1996, Jeannie found someone new, a Disney executive. Jeannie thought she had
finally found her soulmate and fell head-over-heals in love. With her personal life going
well, she started working for Playboy. She had a major role in Playboy's Freshman
Class and for the first time appeared nude in a film. They were fun to work for and made
her feel very comfortable.
One month later she was on the set again with the lead role in The Key To Sex which
ended up being an extremely popular movie, as she had predicted at the time. Then she was
asked to do the cover of Playboy Magazine's March 1999 issue with Gene Simmons
from Kiss.
Despite the successes she was now experiencing in her career, her love life began falling
apart until it crashed and Jeannie's life began taking a downward slide and she resorted to
drugs as her escape from her pain. She moved out of her apartment in Beverly Hills and
returned to Las Vegas. Playboy again called and she did Awakening of Gabriella. While
a lot of her fans really liked this movie, she realized her personal struggles were affecting
the quality of her work and decided to take a break from acting in order to pull herself
together. She did a lot of soul searching and felt those were the darkest years of her life.
Her angels definitely worked overtime.
Jeannie found new strength during the time taken for herself. This has resulted in Jeannie
firmly establishing priorities by focusing on her career, enhanced spirituality, and personal
values. Jeannie is currently modeling for several commercial and promotional projects
and is in negotiation to star in two movies scheduled for production this year. She is also
working with Jon Millar, a talented new screenwriter on a new screenplay. His credits
include several episodes of Arrest and Trial. He has also published a new book,
Rattlesnake Lawyer, which has been optioned to be made into a Film/TV series.
