Pictured above are 16 of the Asian models who are scheduled to attend the Model Showcase Event this Sunday October 16th from Noon to 5PM at the Los Angeles Harbor Hotel in San Pedro. You can save money by buying your ticket in advance online or over the phone. If you purchase it at the door, it costs $25 but only $20 (or $15 with a model discount code) in advance.

I am not familiar with all the models listed above but have profiled Anastasia and Tia Kai while Robin has profiled Charisse Kailyn.

I have attended a number of these Model Showcase Events and one of the unique aspects is that they have a contest where the model who receives the most raffle tickets which fans buy for $1 each gets a cash prize of $1000 and a table at the LA Glamourcon. There are also cash prizes for the runner ups and half tables at Glamourcon for second and third prize winners. The beauty of the raffle ticket concept is that it allows fans to show their appreciation for their favorite models and in turn many models will be happy to take a photo rather than charging to do so like some other model events. Of course, there are notable exceptions of some models in the past who expect to be paid to take a picture even after you have purchased something from them but that is not the norm fortunately. There are also several raffle drawings for prizes donated by the models during the event (for each ticket you buy you get a corresponding raffle claim ticket which you keep).

They also bring up models during the event up to the front to do a mini group photoshoot and models spontaneously tend to go around and pose together as well. It is a great event to bring your digital camera and have fun taking photos of models.

UPDATE: Stephanie Le Gee is offering 2 free tickets to the first ones who make arrangements with her. She was planning to attend the event but got scheduled to cover an event in Las Vegas. She made the offer from her Yahoo Group so you can probably respond to the message there and select “reply to author”.

UPDATE 2: I just saw a message from Moses that all current members of his paysite womenofperfection.com get in free to the Model Showcase Event if you bring a printout of your IBill receipt. The 1 month membership is cheaper than the $25 door price and only slightly more than the normal $20 online price unless you use a model discount code and pay $15.
