Ying Ying (Jessica)

We recently received an interesting email from this Chinese Australian girl, who felt we didn’t feature enough Asian Australians here, and suggested we might want to do a post on her to try and redress this imbalance (this is in spite of the fact that I’m an Aussie myself, as is our hostess Sachiko). She certainly has a good point though: we really haven’t featured many Asian Australians at all. However, the sad reality is that Asian models still don’t have much of a presence here, even though we actually have a lot of Asian babes. Also, most of the glamour photography done here is, quite frankly, embarrassingly bad (and it seems that most of our makeup artists don’t know how to work with Asian girls either). So it was with great relief that I discovered that Jessica’s photos were not only very high quality, but that she was also very attractive, with a remarkably curvacious yet slim body.

However, the most interesting part of all was her bio – it turns out she is a whole lot more than just a pretty face (and sexy body!). Her bio – plus many much more revealing photos – can be found after the jump.

Name: Ying Ying (aka Jessica)
DOB: 13 September 1989
Height: 170cm
Ethnicity: Chinese
Hometown: Shanghai, China
Country of residence: Western Australia, Australia

At heart I’m a concert violinist but very passionate about all forms of art. Music has been and still is a huge part of my life (I started learning violin when I was three as my father is a professional violinist) and has taken me all around the world. At the moment, I am putting myself through university so violin performances have taken the back seat and I am currently teaching violin and musicology. I’m completing a bachelor of science in the discipline of physiotherapy. This year in 2009 I’m hoping to gain entry into a Law and Commerce degree. Starting my own teaching business and settling into university has been the main focus in my life for the past two years leaving not much room for anything else. 2009 is a welcomed year as everything is finally falling into place for me and I am able to pursue my hobbies again. As you can guess, music is making a come back on the top of my hobbies list (It is a hobby but it also happens to be what defines me as a person the most as opposed to my prospective career paths). I use to regularly collaborate with different artists mostly in the asian community to organise charity concerts and galas- I’m hoping to continue doing that this year. Art is severely neglected in the Australian society and I feel the public has been deprived of an element in life that I couldn’t imagine living without so I am doing my part to keep it alive. Being brought up in Australia, I love being outdoors and being active so I participate in a wide range of sport and having the general attitude to stay fit and healthy. I am also a member of the Australian Pistol Association – there’s nothing like having a bad day then getting even at the shooting range haha…don’t worry I’m perfectly safe and harmless. Being an art fanatic I love photography. To be able to ‘catch that moment’ and preserve it in time is priceless. I spend most of my time behind not in front of the camera (for the simple reason that I’m just not photogenic enough) and its only recently that I decided to swap roles and model for a change. I’m also a literature enthusiast especially concerning poetry and philosophy in the appreciation of it as well as composing my own work.

I am passionate about everything that I do and about every single person in my life. Sometimes people confuse my passion with my temper. I am demanding but never without reason. I expect no less than a vision to strive for perfection from everyone else because that is what I will strive to give to you too. I like the simple things in life but I enjoy the complex things just as much. I believe a girl can have the smarts, wit, feminine charm, class, beauty (inner as well as outter) to command respect, power and success. I think too many women these days forget that external beauty is not everlasting and a mere ‘win’ in God’s lucky dip and as a result become an empty shell with no aspirations, goals or substance. Who said we can’t have both? 😉

I am ruled by my emotions and am impulsive- not so good for the purse but I like to live my life in the now and live it my way and without boundaries except moral. I have a dark side which is my alter ego. I have a lingerie fetish which only seems to get worse. From the outside I am conservative. Mystery is intriguing so I’m going to leave the rest to your imagination…

My own personal communications with Jessica have confirmed that she is indeed exceptionally intelligent, accomplished and emotionally mature and self assured for someone so young – a refreshing change from the shallow attention seekers who (sadly) so often get featured here, and who seem to dominate the web these days! Personally I was also quite struck by how Eurasian she looked – not just her face but also her body. As it turns out, she has a fair bit of Russian blood on her mother’s side. This can be seen quite clearly in the following very nice (and quite revealing) photos, I think:

  1. Top notch entry, Doc. Ying Ying is really fantastic. I can’t believe she thinks she isn’t photogenic enough to be in front of the camera more often.

It’s great when AS features beautiful women with talent, and what better talent than a concert violinist. A real upgrade, IMO, from no-talent pop “singers” that we are inundated with…not that I’m complaining.

Best of luck to Ying Ying in each of the areas she decides to explore. I really hope she decides to share more of herself with us, in the future.

  2. OH MY GOSH!!! she is drop dead gorgeous. Prettiest Chinese model I’ve ever seen. I think she is a perfect 10. I would die to look like her.

  3. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie…great stuff, I love the beach photos. In Melbourne the Arts scene is pretty good, perhaps Jessica would like to move across the country 😉

  4. WoW! I’m lovin’ the shear lingerie shots. Just imagine seeing her coming out of the water wearing something like that at the beach. It’d be a great day for me…that’s for sure. Perfect.

  5. Damn she is HOT! and coincidentally, she and I have the same exact birthday, even down to the year! SAVAGE! Plus, any hot asian girl with an Aussie accent rates a 20 in my book!

  6. Very pretty.I once dated a girl who was born in Kazahkstan near the Chinese border.Same Eurasian look.I can find no flaws with Ms.Ying…except of course that we are’nt out to dinner. ;^D

  7. Very nice. Stephanie Jacobsen (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) was born in Hong Kong and has lived in Australia since age 12. I’m sure there must be pictures of her around somewhere.

  8. Elric just stole my post! I was going to mention the same gorgeous lady. Stephanie Jacobsen has been insome stuff here in the States buthas a STROng Aussie accent. Check her out.

Ying Ying is delicious, thanks for the find Doc.

  9. Let’s not forget that Sachiko is quite an accomplished classically trained pianist as well – even in the nude. 😉

Seriously though, music is my first love, so the combination of a beautiful, intelligent woman and a musician is pretty much irresistable for me. 🙂

I shall have to check out Stephanie Jacobsen when I have some free time. Does anyone know if Summer Glau has any Asian blood in her? I suspect not, but she’s certainly a babe anyway!

  10. Yeah Summer Glau is stoopid hot but I don’t believe Asian in anyway. But again…Steph Jacobsen..YOINK!

  11. Doc, I may be right if I say you have a music fetish? :))

Ying is sexy, slim, truly interesting. A beautiful girl who likes lingerie, likes male attention and is also quite charming and smart, from what I see. What’s not to love?

  12. Yep, she certainly is quite charming and very smart – she has impressed me rather a lot I must say. And I do have a music fetish. 😉

  13. I’m 100% with you on this one Doc. The combination of musical talent (especially violin) and good looks makes for an unbelievable girl. She is stunning and I love her attitude and devotion.

Does she post here or just browse?

  14. Yikes!
I mean, wow. Remarkable and I’m glad I’m nowhere near her because I’d follow her around forever!!!

I’ve already worked out in my mind that I’d follow her around like a puppy at first she’d be mad and creeped out until she tells me to go away and I do. I show up somewhere and ask can I come back and she says only if I promise not to be creepy and harm her and I ask something stupid like “should I ware pastels and wear a bell?” It goes oever well as a joke, that and the fact that she has had me investigated and found I’m harmless she lets me follow her. I’m never really accepted into per personal life, never an interest at first I didn’t really hit on her because she so young then it just never moved anywhere. Sometimes I would help her setup, move things, take down sometimes she ask me to grab something for her. Eventually she marries someone and since I never let anyone else in my life I still have one but from the outside it would appear that its filled with nothing.

  15. What next I wonder? So far we’ve had people fantasising about devoting their lives to stalking her, another one who wants to eat her baby… Jessica has certainly brought out the weird side of Asian Sirens’ readership. 😉

  16. Jeezus Bigstusexy I’m not even a woman and I’m creeped out by you. I feel all restainingorderish..

  17. This is the kind of girl I attribute “beautiful” too. Not “hot”. Not “gorgeous”. Not “sexy”.

She’s simply beautiful. And believe me, I rarely dust off that word…

  18. there seems to be a fair bit of “gushing” in this post too, and some quite disturbing, ‘restainingorderish..’ I think Big Stu may have stained things enough. Given the choice I would probably go with Yennie but those wet swimsuit shots above almost sway me. In reference to Summer Glau…”She is of Scotch-Irish and German descent.[3]” straight from wikipedia if you choose to belive it, she is hot though 😉

  19. I have to agree: I’ve become quite friendly with Jessica during our email correspondence, and I do think she’s very attractive overall, but I also feel some of the comments here are a little over the top – particularly big stu’s. 😉

  20. im laughing my ass off as i read everyones comments.
do i need glasses or what? I dont find her attractive at all.
I think it may be because my taste are for hot importee girls and not motherly looking types…but hell yeah we need more australian asian posts on here!

  21. One person’s “hot import girl” is another person’s talentless, shallow attention seeker, but it’s kind of a relief to see a negative comment in this thread. 😉

  22. Okay, I can admit that I’m weird and perverted but my perverted side was not in my last post. one of the things I do with just about everything in my life is think it though till the end. If you want to take my last comment and compress it to normal output it would read something like: “Wow, I really like her, she is pretty and she has some other things I find attractive like teacher, working in the arts especially with her hands and a vision of her future, nice! Too bad I don’t live near her I’d probably check out her public efforts”

From that I just expanded a possible path. Its not that bad either, if you have seen a few episodes of Scrubs its not too different from one of the tangents JD goes off on.

  23. Regarding the shortage (or lack of) Aussie Asian girls on this site, I’d be happy to assist in the Western part of this continent. There are more Asian make-up artists here, and I’m sure we can pool together a tight little team that’s mobile enough to run around and give more coverage of girls in the West.

    What say all of you?

  24. dr lee: i dont know if that was to offend or not, but none the less most guys who go to motor shows dont really give a shit if the girls got talent, they are there to look hot and they do a damn good job at it. Import models have a ‘talent’ in marketing themselves.
Is this girl 20? Cause she looks like 40

  25. Actually, I’ve given Jessica quite a grilling about her age, as I thought she looked quite mature too (not 40 though!), and she’s certainly very emotionally mature as well. This was somewhat exasperating for her, but she’s convinced me she’s telling the truth!

Regarding import models, for my taste most of them don’t even look good these days, and I dislike the kind of “famous for nothing” mentality they represent. I also think the import industry promotes dangerous and noisy driving habits, which I despise.

  26. Interesting girl: very articulate bio statement and, for someone only 20 years old, unusual clarity about who she is and what she wants. Oh yes, and pretty too. I especially like the aristocratic nose and high cheeks bones – the Russian genes perhaps? I’m curious about the ‘violin has taken me round the world” statement. I don’t recall hearing of her before on the concert stage. Doc, do you know where she’s played?

  27. Okay, here’s Jessica’s response to urgal’s question:

I went to China for a short period to study almost like exchange in 2004. Later in 2006 I travelled Europe for both performance and further education. I went to take master classes at the Royal Music College in London and also perform at various venues, one being the Australian consulate in London. I then travelled to Belgium and France purely to perform. Throughout my childhood and up until now, I have also been traveling constantly to the eastern states, namely Sydney and Melbourne for conferences, festivals and performances. Within the next few years, I’d like to go to Japan and America to pursue further study for violin pedagogy and performance.

  28. Thanks Doc and xie xie Jessica. I see. Impressive. Only 16 and performing in Europe. But you haven’t reached American shores yet.
Well, if you do swing our way, appearing in performance, you’ll certainly be recognized, even if “Ying ying” is not the name on the marquee. Your face is memorable.
Best of luck in your performance & teaching careers, and don’t give in to the “dark side” of the Force. Thanks for emailing Doc and for gracing the webpages of AS.

  29. I can’t reveal what name will be on the marquee, but yes, Ying Ying won’t be it – just thought I’d mention that in case some of you are trying to Google her. 🙂

  30. Such a busybody. Any guy that asks her out to a date should expect to be sent to a corner and stare at it for a while.

Yet any lucky guy who will be with her should still treat her like a lady and with respect. I mean she most likely will have more accomplishments than the guy.

  31. it’s referring to the Lindy Chamberlain missing baby case from the early eighties, you may remember the Meryl Streep and the line…”a dingo’s got my baby!” it was big news in Australia 🙂

  32. Sorry benninbeb, but this is all there is on the web. I have more, but I would have to get permission from Jessica to post them.

  33. oh ok, thx anyway Dr. Lee, i must’ve sound like pervy back then…well shame on me…just tell her i say hello…hehehe…thx

  34. I’m a friend of Jessica. Dr.Lee using her personal images and personal information to share in here is not moral. Dr.Lee, please remove this topic if you have good heart. Jessica’s personal life is having so much trouble because of Dr.Lee’s illegal usage of Jessica’s images and personal message. She’s been through enough. Thank you

  35. 1) This article is not illegal – it was authorised by Jessica herself.

    2) I have just received an email from somebody claiming to be Jessica asking me to take this down for personal reasons. If I can confirm that it really is Jessica and not somebody pretending to be her, I will happily comply with her request.
