Dr. Lee’s article on Applegirl motivated me to finish this article that I have been working on for Marié. I also admire Asian women who are talented musicians, especially if they can play acoustic guitar which I love to listen to.

I found out about Marié back in January from this list of sexiest geeks that I found. Users on this site submitted photos for their nomination for who they thought was the sexiest geek. I saw Marié’s photo and thought she was pretty cute, so I started looking up her biographical information. Once I found out she was half-Japanese, I had to write about her.

As an admirer of both beautiful Asian women and talented musicians and singers, I just had to feature this girl. She has the most popular new channel on YouTube I’ve ever seen – the first of her two videos went up less than three weeks ago, and she’s already had over two million views and more than 12,000 subscribers. If you have been following Asian Sirens for a while, you will no doubt recognize Ami Tokito on the right. She is part of a music group called Gyaruru, and I thought it would be fun to look at the two other current members of Gyaruru, Asami Abe (left) and Natsuko (Gal) Sone (middle).Asami Abe is the sister of another singer, Natsumi Abe. She is 24, sings and acts just like her older sister, and also has done a little modeling as well.

Gal Sone comes with a COMPLETELY different story. Gal Sone is not a model, she’s not an actress, and her singing career appeared to have come out of nowhere. Still, she was already famous in Japan. Why? Because she is one of the world’s greatest competitive eaters. At just 23 year’s old, the petite girl has had her stomach studied because of the vast amount of food she can consume despite keeping her small figure.
