Helping everyone celebrate the new year, which as any red blooded China-man knows started this year on the 23rd of January. Come on rest of the world, the lunar calendar system rocks! Ahem… yes.

Unfortunately the famous Pirelli Calendar does not has any nude photography this year. (What were they thinking?!)

But the good news is that the theme of 2008 is ‘Pearls of the Orient’ and no less then THREE Chinese women are part of the line-up! Again, no nudity… (I just can’t get over that!)Mo Wandan (born January 29, 1988) is a Chinese fashion model. She has walked the runway for Dios, Armani and Krizia. She posed for fashion magazine French wearing John Galliano. She is considered a rising star in Europe.

Du Juan (born September 15, 1982, in Shanghai) is a Chinese fashion model. A former Miss China 2003, Du made her runway debut in Spring 2006, walking for prominent designers such as Valentino and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Maggie Cheung (born September 20, 1964) is a multi award-winning Chinese actress from Hong Kong. Raised in England, she has over 80 films to her credit since starting her career in 1983.
