Repliee Q2 is an upgrade version of Repliee Q1. The face of Repliee Q2 becomes more humanlike. Furthermore, it has 13 DoFs in the head so that it can make some facial expressions and mouth shapes.

It seems Hiroshi Ishiguro just keep working on his hobby! I wonder when these robots will replace the Real Dolls…

Well-known American designer Paul Frank goes Asian! Can anyone ID the model? And do you agree with me that Asian models should be used more often in Western advertisements? 😉

Long time no posts in the Design & Art category! (and some might say that’s a good thing ;-)) Thought this one was quite funny.

This information was passed on to me by Sachiko, who received it from one of her fans (thanks Chris if you’re reading this!), introducing us to the exceptional artwork of Guan Zeju. Presumably the reason he felt Sachiko’s fans would appreciate it is not so much the outstanding artistic quality and remarkable realism of his paintings, but the outstanding physical attributes of the subject of his Timeless series. 🙂 One has to wonder how much artistic licence he took in painting such a beauty, but whether this girl really does have such a stunning figure or not, I’m sure our readers can appreciate the results!

Okay, this has nothing to do with beautiful Asian women (except maybe for the Mongolian waitress), but still, I wanted to share this with you guys!
