Sexy Mandarin’s New Girls: Taiwan vs. Mainland China

In my previous post, I said I’d do a follow-up introducing Sexy Mandarin‘s new girls, and here it is! There’s two groups of four girls: one from Taiwan – featured in their last five lessons – and another from Mainland China, who haven’t been featured yet (apart from in Charlie Bit My Finger). Hằng Rubi is a young model from Vietnam with an impressive array of photos that look like they were taken with a digital camera circa 2003. But hey – photos! I don’t know when or where she became a model and I’m having a really hard time with my FireFox right now, so in the interests of time I’m not going to bother looking. Sorry. Charlie Bit My Finger and Viral YouTube Videos

The video above – from the people who brought us Sexy Mandarin – appears to be the latest YouTube video to go ‘viral’. It’s actually a spoof of the most viewed video on YouTube ever, the infamous Charlie Bit My Finger. Personally, I find the original video pretty lame, although I find the new one quite entertaining, for obvious reasons! Along with my previous post on YouTube sensation Natalie Tran, this led me to wonder: what is it that makes a YouTube video go viral? I am very interested to hear our readers’ opinions on this!BTW, I will be doing a feature soon on the new models at Sexy Mandarin. Here’s the two girls from this video, Candice and Vrenna:

With as long as I’ve been doing this, it’s become exceedingly rare for me to come across a famous model I’ve never heard of. So when I found out that Alexis Kay Lee even had her own personal site for a while I was more than a little shocked. But I don’t think she posed nude and it looks like she hasn’t updated it in months, so that could explain a little bit.Stats:

So What’s Going On With Natalie Tran?

With over 431,515,000 views and 1,086,500 followers, Vietnamese Australian Natalie Tran is an absolute YouTube phenomenon. Although I’m not a fan personally, I have to admire the craft of her sharp editing and witty, quick fire dialogue. Incredibly, she was churning out a new video every few days, building up a grand total of 287 clips, until she suddenly stopped without warning four months ago, after posting the video above. Her Facebook page – which is still active – doesn’t give any clues as to why, despite many requests from her fans. Does anyone know?
