Surprisingly, Japanese gravure model and actress, Kaori Ohara, whose bouncy “Choco Party” commercial was the subject of the Dec 14th post here, is almost 31. According to her bio, she was born February 17, 1976 in Tokyo. She hasn’t done any nudes as far as I know but with a body like this, we can always hope that she’ll reconsider in the future.By the way, in the chocolate commercial, she says; “Denroku! (the name of the company) Choco Party, Good! Good!” three times in an adorable voice while she’s bouncing around, then looks down at her boobs and chides, “What are you looking at?”
More photos of her here.
She looks different in the commercial….younger…less jowly.
she doesnt look good here…BUT….nice boobs….”good, good” 🙂
Actually, the reason she looks ‘jowly’ here is because the photos have been stretched vertically. We’ve asked CEC32 to upload them again.
Nice choice of girl for your first post though CEC32! She’s one of my old favourites.
Great – looks like CEC32’s fixed them now!
Still, IMHO these aren’t her best photos.
Of course these aren’t her best photos.
Her best photos would be NUDE ones!
🙂
One more thing – I have all her photo albums (as well her VCD), and I believe her surname is spelt ‘Ohhara’.
Definitely not Ohhara…depending on your transliteration preferences, it would be oohara (since it is a rare, repeated vowel in Japanese)…but Ohhara, with a repeated consonant sound, would be extremely rare for a Japanese name.
I really enjoyed her “good good” video – one of the funniest things I’ve seen until that ‘topless’ japanese new year video.
The first photo looks like one where a guy burst into a dressing room while she was changing. She has a somewhat disgusted and violated expression.
Is this a common pose in other countries?
When I saw the last name OHARA…and made the “jowly” observation-I thought maybe some Irish dude got yellow fever and produced this Eurasian looking cutie.”But-her faced” as she is in these shots…I’m not likely to refuse her advances.
‘Ohhara’ may be rare, but that is how it is spelt on all her photo albums and VCD (as I said I have them). It is just a stage name after all – I think it’s meant to suggest “Oh! Hara”, as in “Wow! Big tits!”. 😉
She looks cold.
Sexy, Babe, Good! Good! We almost have the same birthday.
Is that right Dr.Lee?! Is there some online Japanese2English site I can cofirm this on?
“Hara” roughly translates into big tits?
No it doesn’t translate into big tits literally. I’m just guesssing they’ve spelt her surname with an ‘Oh’ instead of an ‘O’ to suggest a gasp – and her tits are the obvious thing people should be gasping at! 😉
She does look alot better in the commercial. Guess the make-up girl was out sick on the shoot above.
I must admit, I would gasp at her tits all night till I passed out from exhaustion, feeling flabergasted and everything. Whoo wee. Not sure if I spelt flabergasted correctly, but oh well. You don’t have to be an english major to appreciate asian beauty, jowly or not
I must agree, she does look much better in the commercial, but I think it is just due to poor pictures. Dr. Lee, any chance you could upload some of thse photo albumbs or find them online?
Kaori was one of a list of models I had in mind for one of my own posts in the future – when I had time to do one! I will eventually do a ‘follow-up’ post, including info about her photo albums and VCD/DVD, which are now collectors items.
She is saying GU GU. As in GU/PA. In Janken, there is a variation that is simply open palm or closed fist. GU and PA. She’s saying GU GU.
Good has two syllables in Japanese.
The ‘h’ in her surname is simply a way of indicating an additional O. The actual spelling of her name could be OOHARA–but often stylistically it is elongated with an H to preserve the sound of O, as in “flow” or “toe.”
Oo, as in ‘flew’ or ‘judy’ is not the desired pronunciation, so two o’s is avoided, even though that’s the elongated O sound.
