UPDATE: Thanks to Roley Chiu I now know the name of this beautiful model: Paulina Bui from Vancouver, BC. (Vietnamese) I found her on the flickr site of Merina Vo. There are some more pictures of her in the Models set. This is absolutely positively my type of girl 🙂

After doing a Google search I learned that she is a Fashion designer…“Designer Paulina Bui, who specializes in couture and custom-made fashions, seemed to look to the same era for inspiration. One skirt’s net underlayers made it froth out like cotton candy. Other pieces had a harder edge: ribbons of dark leather swung over the hips of wide, gauzy palazzo pants, while others snugged over a bustier top and formed the strands of a swingy skirt. She also seems to have a Friendster and MySpace profile. In the pictures section she shows us some magazine covers (Rolling Stone, Vogue, Harpers, Sports Illustrated) with her on it. I don’t think thet are the real deal, but she certainly is a model to keep an eye on! 😉

I found Magdalena on the site of Bruno Talledo, the photographer I featured a little while ago. I liked her looks and the fact that she was really enthusiastically setting up her modeling career again after a long hiatus. I asked her if she was okay with being featured on Asian-Sirens and she said she would like that.

So here I present to you this young Filipina/Mexican lady from San Diego. One of her hobbies is webdesign, and as a result she has a nice site which she updates all the time. This sexy young lady is Amara, another popular model featured on the Asian4You web site. As mentioned in a comment in Marco’s Petchara posting, Amara has used different last names on different sites. To avoid confusion, we’ll just leave it at Amara.

As with many of the Asian4You models, it’s difficult to find any detailed information or bios on them. I believe Amara is Thai, but I could be wrong. If anyone can locate a biography of her please post it in the comments.

Thi Quach is one of the East coast Vietnamese models who have recently entered the modeling scene. She writes that she first started modeling in March 2005.

It was interesting to see that she has befriended Amy Nguyen and Julie Ha. They happened to be the only Asian models at a recent event.

Akira Lane impressed me from the first time I met her at the first Asian Sirens Expo. Her ever present smile lit up the room and she was genuinely friendly. Of course, as you can see above, she was and still is very beautiful and sexy. It is no wonder that she is successful in so many areas including modeling, acting, webmistressing, business, etc.

Akira has an interesting story of how she started modeling. The more complete version is on her website in the About Me section under My First Shoot but here is a short version I found on askmen.com and adapted slightly:

“One night, after downing several shots of tequila at a bar, Akira accepted a dare that would change her life forever: a friend challenged her to take nude photos and post these photos on the Internet. Never one to back down, Akira did just that.”

Akira was born on June 9th (6-9) on the Japanese island of Okinawa. She is a beautiful mix of Japanese and Hawaiian. You can find more details in the Bio page of her website under About Me section.

REVISED (7Nov05): I did a search for online interviews of Akira on google but didn’t come across any. I just discovered a couple interviews of Akira done by Asian Ladies of the Internet from a comment on Asian Sirens made by ALOTI regarding Petchara. The more recent of those two interviews is dated July 2003. Besides those interviews, I also recommend checking out the FAQ section under About Me on Akira’s website. One question I didn’t see answered in the FAQ is how she came up with the last name Lane for her modeling name. The reason I ask is that it doesn’t sound particularly Asian to me but I have also noticed other Asian models using non-Asian last names as well. Also, although there isn’t a lot of new information, the askmen.com profile of her is interesting as well.

Akira makes many public appearances related to her modeling work. Her next scheduled appearance where you can meet her in person is at the Glamourcon in Los Angeles on November 19th and 20th. She will be at the jbvideo.com booth!

NorthMan reminded me to mention Akira’s latest DVD Secret Desires of a Housewife 2 where she reportedly has her hottest softcore sex scenes ever!
