Asian Soccerbabes!

Soccerbabes

On flickrbabes.com I found this great series by Steven Young (although I am not sure Steven actually is the photographer, he may just be placing ad-campaigns!), a team of gorgeous Asian women playing soccer. And the photography/artwork is just stunning! I hope the photographer doesn’t mind me placing (almost) the whole set in More, because Flickr seems to be offline a lot lately (‘having a massage’ as they prefer to call it ;-)) and I wouldn’t want you to miss this! I should recommend of course that you visit Steven Young’s flickr pages and enjoy all of the great photo’s. There is a lot more there!

Ohw, can anyone stranslate the Chinese (or Japanese?) text on the photo’s? Maybe it will shed some light on this photoshoot.

UPDATE: These photo’s bacame very hot in just a few days! Numerous blogs mentioned them but according to Santini it all started here on this Chinese Esquire blog.image

And the news from Asia today…

image

Asian Sex Gazette has a few items today that we felt may interest and titillate Asian Sirens readers. We have China’s newest ‘bare-assed blogger’, a sad day for censorship in China as semi-nude – or nudity implied photos – fan controversy in China in which a TV personality posed to advance women’s health, and finally one of our freelancers in Thailand explores sex and sensuality in ‘Sex on a Honda Sonic’…ASG would highlight our piece on Sex on a Honda Sonic, which takes a unique look at sex and sexuality in Thailand though the utilitarian, but ‘motor-equestrian’ sport of motorcycling in Thailand.

Next we would cry censorship ‘bloody murder’ over the Chinese authorities’ – and Chinese themselves – decrying of a perfectly sexy and women’s health concerned advertisement in which a Chinese TV personality – and hottie – Chen Dan participated and has since been forced to apologize. Full story here.

Finally in a quasi-related story of Chinese censorship and prudish behavior, yet another uninhibited blogger has been brought to board for publishing [tasteful] nude photos of herself on her blog. In a story that is becoming all too common from China, we appreciate the fact that this young woman stands against authorities and public outcry to essentially say, ‘Back off prudes, it is my life…’ Full story on ‘China’s unrepentant bare assed blogger’.

We appreicate the interest and hope this is informative to Asian Siren’s entire readership.

And The Eyes Have It…

Painted Bodies

I have always been a big fan of quality body art and well crafted tattoos. The Chinese site Buee has a fine showing of beautifully painted women. And there is also a series of photos showing how the work is done in stages. Bio’s for the girls are in Chinese, but the measurements are easy to read.

I have had the pleasure of seeing some startling body canvasses in Japan and Hong Kong. And my only regret is that I can’t do much more than stick figures (Please tell me there a school you can go to for this!) so, I can only happily admire the artistry:I sport one small tatoo from my days in Tae Kwon do: It is a small Korean Flag. I always wanted to have one put on my heel that said ” objects are larger than they appear,” but…

I am actually not far from one of the many studios here that specialize in this fine, pun intended, art so, I may just take a camera and report back to you–if I get back.

Cassie: The Making of an Internet Diva

Cassie: The Making of an Internet Diva

Her day job is modeling for the likes of Target, Adidas, and Abercrombie & Fitch, but her heart and soul go into singing R&B. Casandra Ventura (aka Cassie), a striking 19-year-old half Filipina and half African American, is fast becoming the first diva of the web generation. With a Billboard Hot 100 single, “Me & U“, getting big play on radio, MTV, and in Search, Cassie’s buzz is strong and rising. Thanks to 13- to 20-year-old (over 60%) and female (over 75%) searchers who can’t get enough of her, “Cassie” searches moved up 109% over the past week. She now holds a coveted place in the top 200 queries.

Cassie may ultimately find success because she understands what moves MP3s and viral videos — she’s just a kid on the Net herself. Her MySpace page gets millions of hits. She launches her videos on YouTube. And she shares her trepidations and triumphs with her fans on her blog. The strength of her online buzz has attracted the industry muscle of no less than P. Diddy and Tommy Mottola.

Perhaps her greatest appeal is that Cassie’s still a 19-year-old girl, just as dazzled by her growing fame as her fans are. At her debut on “MTV Total Request Live“, she zoomed in with her own video camera on the audience going wild. She wanted to be able to blog about “everyone freaking out,” she explained.

36% of Americans 18 to 29 are tattooed

36% of Americans 18 to 29 are tattooed

Over the past years we’ve discussed many Asian models that are tattooed. But if you think it’s something just for soldiers, sailors, bikers, and models than you’re wrong. According to a recent study published in Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology about 36 percent of Americans age 18 to 29 and more than 24 percent of Americans between 18 and 50 have at least one tattoo.

Just in case you forgot who the girl is in the picture, it’s Ymmi Goldfish who was mentioned before at Asian Sirens.
