Eriko Sato was born December 12, 1981 in Tokyo, Japan. She started her acting career in 1998 with Japanese TV drama, “Beauty Girl H.” With many drama roles to follow, Eriko Sato’s career was highlighted in 2004 with the movie, Cutie Honey. Her latest role is Tokyo TV drama, “Tenka Souran ~Tokugawa Sandai no Inmou”, where she plays a role in the power struggle of the Tokugawa family (via: kineda.com).

Recently I had the fun of screening Cutie Honey for a group of anime-loving friends, most of whom had never seen it before. There was a certain amount of embarrassment (not to mention eye strain) among the male witnesses to Ms Sato’s performance… particularly the scene when she’s sitting around in her apartment in her underwear doing spontaneous gymnastic routines. Fun times.
Disloyally, however, I still prefer Reon. She’s just so natural. (Of course I’m aware it’s all part of the image, but it’s a nearly perfect image.)
Just felt like bumping this thread again what with today’s talk of Cutie Honey… I was checking out some pics of Eriko and actually got embarrassed with myself at how hot she is…. very nice indeed.
