  1. I’ve always felt that Chinese fashion models must be some of the least attractive Chinese women on the planet – I really don’t get it.

  2. Also, it is not just Chinese – the Miss Philippines Pageant? ANY famous Thai Model EVER? The way that most of these countries judge beauty is often the exact opposite of how we judge it in the West.

  3. Ah yes – I’d always associated Kalmyk with northern Chinese, but I guess they’re more Mongolian than anything else. Plus Hye is Korean of course. 🙂

Still, I stand by my statement: Asian models in general – and Chinese models in particular – are really starting to penetrate the fashion industry, but they must be some of the least attractive examples of Asian women I’ve ever seen.

  4. The angry look is typical for models the world over. High fashion models are rarely beautiful. Cindy Crawford is the rare exception, in my opinion.

  5. Well, mainland Chinese models are my least favorite, but Taiwanese Chinese, Hong Kong and other ethnic Chinese models are great.

  6. they look much better in the video. I agree with luvjgirls in that professional runway models are often not very beautiful, I think they are chosen more for looking unique. Also these girls look quite tall so I guess they fit the clothes better. Adrianna Lima would get my vote as the most attractive fashion model or Irina Shayk.

  7. Asian beauties…I think not…but then that goes with models in general. Local gals got these ladies beat by miles.

I did enjoy the vid shoot though…especially the Model Sandwich near the end 😉

  8. As with any models, maybe. And I do mean most likely for sure…they’d be hot in person, but on the internet, maybe just OK.
