Cassie Yukawa and Rosey Chan are two dazzling young piano virtuosi with an eye for the theatrical. Former rivals on the junior competition circuit, the pair first began collaborating in November 2003, shortly after leaving the Royal College of Music where they had both studied with Yonty Solomon. Since then they have burst onto the UK classical music scene with performances at such prestigious venues as Londonβs South Bank Centre, Wigmore and Steinway Halls. Their repertoire extends from Mozart and Rachmaninov through to John Cage and collaborations with contemporary composers such as Kenneth Hesketh.

She began her musical tuition in Tokyo aged four, subsequently joining the Purcell School of Music with a scholarship in 1995 making her concerto debut playing Saint-Saensβ Piano Concerto No. 2 aged 14. Cassie graduated from the Royal College of Music BMus Degree in June 2003.
Rosey Chan began her musical studies at the age of six. In 1992 Rosey received a scholarship to study piano and violin at the Junior Royal Academy of Music in London winning several prizes, including the Iris Dyer Piano competition for three consecutive years. Rosey continued her education studying piano with Yonty Solomon at the Royal College of Music graduating from the BMus Degree in 2002.
