The Cast of Yoga School

Yoga School Poster

Like with Ogamdo, the poster for the soon-to-be-released Korean summer horror/thriller Yoga School (above) has caused quite a buzz that’s preceded the film’s opening. The eerie, photo-manipulated image features actress Lee Young-jin, who is one of the stars of the film, with a tagline that reads, “Do you also want to be pretty?”Scheduled to be released only in Korea on August 20th, the film is about a group of appearance-obsessed young women who seek out and attend a curious yoga school that promises everlasting beauty.

The rest of the lovely female cast includes Kim Eugene (formerly of popular singing group SES, and whom yours truly has had the pleasure of meeting), Park Han-byul, Cha Soo-yeon (who was IDed here), Jo Eun-ji, Kim Hye-na, and Hwang Seung-uhn.

Yoga School Cast
The cast at the press conference in Seoul last month. The film’s lead actress, Eugene (far left) stands about 160cm (just under 5’3″), all the ladies are wearing heels, so you can judge their heights accordingly.

Park Han-byul
Of the seven ladies appearing in the movie, Park Han-byul will arguably provide the best eye-candy and seems to have stolen the show at the press conferences. More on that here.

  1. You got that right, jd.

I think Eugene has the best face of all the girls, and is the most classically beautiful That’s a nice pic you have with her, CEC. She looks great all covered up, with poor lighting. I will refrain from commenting on your looks, CEC. :#) I’d hope you would do the same for me.

Park Han-byul looks to be very cute and extremely sexy, though. It’s easy to see how she could steal the show. She’s adorable.

  2. Impressive cast of beautiful Korean ladies. *drool* I’m inclined to agree with Bigfoot – Eugene is classically beautiful. I will most definitely be seeing this one.

That said, Korean film is spectacular – I’d go as far as to say it’s the country that has been producing the most interesting movies in the past 10 years (JSA, Silmido, My Sassy Girl, Taegukgi, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, etc… the list goes on and on!).

Now I doubt this film will be a classic by any stretch of the imagination… but hot damn, it will be memorable with that cast! ^^
