Seems their secret is to address specific niches by strongly projecting their individual personalities. Shoko Nakagawa is geeky, Maria Ozawa is exotic, Sora Aoi is sublime, Reon Kadena is fun, Yuma Asami is chirpy.
Force of personality can cross language barriers. Being big bloggers, those Japanese know how to build personality cults into global microbrands. 😉
Massively over-produced, but still a whole lot more listenable than the last Shoko song you posted. 😉
