Like the groundbreaking television series “Sex and the city”, this funny, sexy comedy directed by Jing Wong, focuses on the lives of a group of women friends in Hong Kong, who gather regularly to talk about sex and the men in their lives. The lovely Selina (Carina Lau) leads the group, who call themselves the “Eight Ladies Club”, as they navigate the perils of love in a glamorous, urban environment. In addition to gorgeous Lau, “Sex and the Beauties” (original title “Sing gam diy shut”) also stars Cecilia Cheung and Athena Chu, along with a plethora of star-studded cameo appearances.

heard lots about the drama, but never watched it. Carina and Cecilia are both my favorite hong kong actresses. i’ll find some time to have a look at the trailers. good site.

It’s a terrible film and Wong JIng is one of the worst directors known to man.
