I first heard of Joy when she was identified in the comments section of this previous post. I liked her looks and decided to find out more about her.
Jocelyn (Joy) Bisco (ethnicity: Filipino) was born on October 15, 1975, in San Diego, California. She graduated from California State University, Northridge.
She has appeared in movies such as Not Another Teen Movie, Ghost World and The Debut. Joy also did some television. She was on ‘Port Charles’ and the CBS soap opera ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’.
I’m sorry to say that I did see Ghost World, but do not remember seeing Joy. The part must have been very small. I like her looks and wish there were more ‘modeling’ photos availaible. The best I could find are from Yolk.com. I placed a few inThere is not a lot to be found about her on the web, but this fansite has it all. Thanks Robin! I like Joy a lot and I think she’s a good actress. I have the DVD of her movie “The Debut” which is a pretty good story. And even though Joy is not the main character, she gets a fair amount of screen time. On this page, you can see an image of the DVD box cover.
The movie is partly about the frustrations the younger generation has growing up with strict parents from another culture.
Frequently the big rental chains don’t carry very many ethnic oriented DVDs. But I was lucky enough to find this movie in my local video store.
