Badboy has done some research on the Asian hotties who are participating in Maxim’s Hometown Hottie contest. I quote from his Asiandivas Yahoo Group:
“Finally, a relatively large selection of Asian hotties this week! I have identified 10 Asian Hotties this week. I encourage everyone to take a few moments to vote especially this week. In order for your vote to be counted, you need to select 10 hotties and then submit them. I have provided convenient voting links that you can click on and vote rather than finding these hotties among the 100 listed. You can vote once per day and voting ends Sunday April 9th (US timezone but not sure which one).”

I was responding to Robin’s question regarding voting for the non-Asian girls. Of this group, the only one who really grabs me is Jenny, although Cindy’s pretty cute and Summer seems to have a nice boob job. I’ve liked Lianne in other photos, but she doesn’t really grab me here. Eng isn’t to my taste at all.
Jivi and Cindy are too plain for my taste. Probably beautiful girls but don’t photograph too well in my opinion. Jenny I believe is really cute but the photo above isn’t her best shot. Eng is just drop dead gorgeous..again in my opinion. But keep voting boys, just not enough Asian girls pass the finish line in these competitions.

To be honest, in prior weeks when there was less than 10 Asian hotties, I would semi-randomely pick others to get to 10. In fact, if you want a certain Asian hottie to win, it might be beneficial to choose others that are less likely to win. It was time consuming enough to identify 10 Asian hotties so I personally didn’t feel up to going through all 100 contestants to identify the most beautiful.
I also believe that it is important to send Maxim a message that the Asian models are popular especially this week when they have selected 10 rather than the typical smaller number in previous weeks other than week 2. If the Asian hotties this week don’t do well, Maxim may choose less in subsequent weeks.

The week 6 semifinalists are now up and of the 10 Asian hotties only Eng made it to the semifinal round. One other strange thing I noticed is that Shae Norris is no longer listed as a week 2 semifinalist?
The voting system is a bit of a black box and the lag between the end of voting and the results being displayed doesn’t make a lot of sense unless Maxim staff manually determines the winners taking the votes as one of the inputs in their decision.
Week 7 of voting has started and I identified 5 Asian hotties in case anyone is interested. The last two Semi and Krista are very hot IMHO! I hope both of them make it to the semifinal round.
It seems my posting did not really help the Asian girls 🙁
