Sometimes attraction is simply due to approachability. Take Azusa Isshiki, for instance. She’s probably objectively an average JAV model, but for some reason she has this aura of approachability that gives her bonus points, at least in my eyes. So I’m debating if I should start going back to posting more contentious women – women that some commenters will like a lot and some, most likely Doc ;), will not like as much. I still have plenty of women I think (almost) everyone will like, but it may be fun to bring some up for discussion again.

While I do allow everyone to post their opinions, I am not as tolerant of people criticising the taste of others. So as long as people just say how they feel without attacking how others feel, or telling Travis how to do his job (and they stay within the posting guidelines of course), then it should be okay.

Not bad, but I don’t really see her are particularly “approachable” when compared to other JAV girls. As a matter of fact, her lack of a smile in most pictures is a little off-putting for me.

You could mix it up. Post about some girls you think will be popular, and mix in some girls that may not usually get the spotlight on them. The main thing I like about Asian-sirens is discovering models I hadn’t seen before, as is the case with Ms. Isshiki here.

I like the fact that she has some ’roundness’ to her while still being lithe. Somewhat of a challenge to most Japanese models I see. Although I don’t like the hair coloring, I’m old fashioned that way.

I think the ’roundness’ to her while still being lithe is due to the fact that it’s very common for asians to accumulate visceral fat… when I gained weight, I noticed that my stomach area didn’t bulge, but sort of lost its defined-ness and developed a sort of “softness” but I was still slim overall.
I think there’s even a term for women who can gain weight but still look skinny — it’s called skinnyfat. If the woman is pear-shaped and tends to distribute weight more in her butt/thighs/lower stomach, she can basically look extremely slim on top but a bit rounder/softer on the bottom.
I have to say I find most moderately good looking asian women to be attractive in some way or another but I’m not feeling this girl at all.
I like the idea of posting more “controversial” types though, it leads to more interesting discussion than she’s hot or I hate tattoos:)

I’m with you on this Travis. Variety. Awhile back there was a post on Kiki Her, an atypical “siren.” Some thought she was too fat, others didn’t like the tat or the piercing. But the poster hit it on the head – it wasn’t what she had, but how she used what she did have. I thought that she exuded an aura of sexiness. I also appreciated her Hmong background – something a little off the beaten path.
Not all of these models will be blessed like Ms. Zhang below – cute face, proportional figure, small waist, nice ass and legs. They do the best with what they have (or pay for) and hope they can find a market for their “skills.” I do not envy their lives nor their livelihood. So, post away Travis. No criticism from this end.

Unfortunately, unlike most pics chosen for women on this site, Azusa definitely comes off as sleazy instead of sexy in most of these pictures. Oh well, maybe it’s the image she’s looking for.
I’m usually all about Japanese models but Azusa-san has me swaying back and forth between drooling and reassessing said drool. She’s hot and then she’s not… it’s perplexing!
Having said that, I’m not understanding the “doesn’t look approachable” factor here. Most of the pics are clearly geared towards conveying a sexy/sultry/dirty feel, however, in pic #5 she is sporting a very sweet, enticing smile. I think what I’m getting at is that it’s usually not the model who decides on what character she’s to perform in front of the camera. Clearly, cutesy-fun was not on the menu during the majority of these shoots… ^^;;
I must say though, I much prefer her hair down than pulled up.

Looking at her or looking her over, she is as many have said “approachable” imperfect even flawed as her poses are a bit sleazy rather than sexy. She is that girl you look at, dismiss, then wonder what that itch is you now have wondering if you are missing something very interesting.

I don’t know if Azusa is all that approachable, but I totally get what Travis means. There are a lot of women I’ve seen where the approachable factor puts them much higher on the list than objectively they should be.
Approachable – does not necessarily equal “easy”
