Asami Abe and Natsuko Sone

image

If you have been following Asian Sirens for a while, you will no doubt recognize Ami Tokito on the right. She is part of a music group called Gyaruru, and I thought it would be fun to look at the two other current members of Gyaruru, Asami Abe (left) and Natsuko (Gal) Sone (middle).Asami Abe is the sister of another singer, Natsumi Abe. She is 24, sings and acts just like her older sister, and also has done a little modeling as well.

Gal Sone comes with a COMPLETELY different story. Gal Sone is not a model, she’s not an actress, and her singing career appeared to have come out of nowhere. Still, she was already famous in Japan. Why? Because she is one of the world’s greatest competitive eaters. At just 23 year’s old, the petite girl has had her stomach studied because of the vast amount of food she can consume despite keeping her small figure.

Asami has quite a few modeling photos while Natsuko has a grand total of 0, with the exception of group shots. With touch ups, though, Gal looks pretty good – but she needs the touch ups because competitive eating has not been too kind to the color of her teeth.

Stats for Asami:

Age: 24
Height: 5’1
Located: Japan
Ethnicity: Japanese

Stats for Gal Sone:

Age: 23
Height: 5’4
Weight: 94 lbs (!)
Located: Japan
Ethnicity: Japanese

  1. So here’s a question for anyone with the answer: what is the fascination with watching Japanese women eat food? I was reminded of this when I saw the last pic, then reminded again as I watched the music video. I feel like I see this portrayed a lot in pictures, videos, even pornography! What is this all about?

BTW, great post Travis, all three women are very attractive IMO, but I like Ami the best still 🙂

  2. In some cases, like eating ramen, the answer is in the noise. Sounds like a sucking/slurping sound. In other cases it is the type of food, such as a banana or what have you. In cases like Gal Sone, they are really just showing that she is a tiny competitive eater – I don’t think there was any sexual perversion there. And in some cases it is simply showing that, while a model, the girl does eat. At least, that is the impression I have gotten.

  3. I really like Asami, never knew she sang but I’ve seen her modeling pics before. It’s odd, an ex of mine looks so much like her in the blue dress pic I did a doubletake, but she was viet/chinese.

  4. Asami is the prettiest, for me.

Gal is pretty, but competitive eating is no excuse for her teeth status. Plus, its really gross for me, when women eat too damn much. Turn off!

  5. My current Japanese obsession, I love watching/hearing her eat and drink. The little delicate slurps, the sighs of satisfaction, the eyes glazed over in joy and bliss…makes it more than worth my while cooking for her or seeking out some tasty treat to please her…

But I digress. She’s a food writer/editor so it’s her job. All this food/wine/chocolate/noodles/sushi/cheese tasting orgies in which we indulge are strictly business of course.

  6. They’re cute–Japanese women excel at that. But there’s nothing really in this post that interests me.

Beyond the cuteness, I have nothing to say about their looks because its too child-like for me. Kinda creepy when grown people (even attractive women) dress and try to act like kids.

And, unlike luvjgirls, I’m not interested at all in watching women eat.

  7. I have to agree with Halloweendm this one – these girls are just too archetypally “modern young Japanese cutesy” for me. I prefer real women.

  8. Yes indeed…I agree with pander 100%. I fell in love with CoCo’s curry house while living in Okinawa and that was the one shot that stood out the most for me. Probably 600 grams of rice and delicious pork curry. Drool!
