  1. Nik2, I agree with you about the asiandivagirls pics though I have a bit of a problem when you say she was one of the Asian Divas. You see many people believe that I am behind that asiandivagirls.com (and/or AsiaDiva.com) when there is no connection. I actually did feature Luana as one of the monthly cover models of my Asian Divas yahoo group when she first got back into modeling.

The danni.com pics look fine to me at least in thumbnail form.

  2. I have to tell you badboy, I really think azndivas.com is a very bad choice of domain name. I know asiandivas.com isn’t available, but asiandivas.net is, and I think it would be a much better choice.

On the other hand, as this confusion shows the whole ‘Asian diva’ concept is seriously overused. It is also actually quite inappropriate given the true definition of the word (the few Asian models who really could be called divas are a long way from the amteurs you normally feature).

  3. Great. Now, I don’t know which “diva” site is legit.

My comment was, that Luana went form a pretty, yet snaggle-toothed girl with some baby fat, self-inflicted make-up & cheap clunky shoes to a real PB quality beauty. No judgement on her webmaster.

  4. Don’t worry about badboy’s comments Nik2 – he does have a tendency to over react to things! 😉 I understood the point you were making anyway.

  5. Luana is doing very well right now with a successful website and getting lots of other paid assignments as well. She’s a smart, hard working girl who has made it in a tough business that many others have not been so lucky in. I appluad her hard work and committment. She deserves every bit of her success.

  6. Maggie Q and Luana Lani, two girls in a row with ties to Hawaii. Yep we got our share of Asian Sirens here! 🙂

  7. Lee, why is azndivas.com a bad choice? Because Asian Divas is overused? Okay, I can imagine that point of view. Because it is a rare name? No problem at al. Look at brand names like Google or Yahoo. And don’t forget that the name Asian Sirens was not used before I started with the site.

And jrboy808, I wish I was born on Hawaii 😉

  8. I wasn’t trying to get completely off topic talking about Asian Divas. At least, I did actually mention Luana in my original comment replying to Nik2. All the sites are legit; it is just that many people associate Asian Divas with me since I created the group before those websites existed. I just wanted to clarify that I am not associated with any of those paysites which I don’t think is an overreaction.

  9. As I said Marco, if badboy’s going to call his site Asian Divas, then asiandivas.net (which is available) is much better than azndivas.com. No one would think to type this URL, but many will try asiandivas.net (unfortunately asiandivas.com is already gone). If you want people to find your site, you should always try to get a domain that people can guess (as I’m sure I don’t need to tell you!).

  10. I don’t think the url is very important, as most people will find a site via a search engine like Google and then remember or bookmark the site. (It is ofcourse nice if the url sounds good :-))
