Found this issue of TIME magazine last week. It is the January edition and features a special about the movie Memoirs of a Geisha. I guess you won’t be able to buy this one anymore, but just wanted to let you know TIME sometimes has Asian beauty on the cover 😉

Was a great movie, thats all i can say.
I didn’t like it. Too much Hollywood influence. It won the Oscars it deserved though. Read more in the Comments here.
Ironic how a Japanese profession is played by an all Chinese [as in ethnicity] cast for the major geisha roles — didn’t read any Japanese complaining about it… If it were a Chinese-based movie played by Japanese, you’d never hear the end of it from the Chinese… I don’t care either way… whoever best suits the roles should get them… Just commenting on the overall sensitivity of Chinese people against the Japanese, that’s all…
Just my two cents…
Other than that, the women in that movie are HOT! YUM!
Just occured to me, did the main actress in this film also play the crazy chick in “Rush Hour 2”?
sorry if im wrong.
FYI – Ty Truong, Vietnamese model based in Philadelphia, is on the cover of this month’s Men’s Fitness magazine here in the States.
WestCoast, can you send us a scan?
jdrevenge, if you meant the “crazy chick” with the kongfu moves, then yes, it was indeed Zhang Ziyi. She’s one hot babe… but somehow I can see the spicy side of her in that you don’t want to piss this chick off in real life… or else….
Everyone made a big deal over having two Chinese woman playing the lead roles…in a MNovie about Japanese woman…
They are two very beautiful woman….but I think they should have used Japanese women…..I think it is a very big insult to Japanese woman…
