Mew Amornpan (Kongtrakan/Sirilapas)

image

Hello Asian Sirens community. Mew Sirilapas Amornpan was a model that was requested by long time AS fan Luke72. He went out on a special mission to find photos of this Thai model/actress. However, though the search came up with a few good photos, a lack of knowledge of Thai has made it difficult to find things such as stats, higher quality photos, etc. So we ask for your help in finding whatever photos and statistics and information you can about her.Her Thai name is หมิว สิริลภัส กองตระการ. She was featured in Zoo Magazine. There are several photos of her with another model whose name we also cannot find (though have not really been looking for) that can be seen below.

Even her last name is somewhat a mystery, as some websites use the name “Kongtraken” while others use “Sirilapas.” So do Luke a solid, go out and see what you can find.

  1. Very cute. This is a case where I agree with folks who prefer long, dark hair (second shot, for example). Somehow it seems to set off her facial features better, and also contrast better with her basic skin color.

  2. Thanks Metelrider you and Travis have done a magnificent job, I have been a fan since picking up the issue of Zoo in BKK last April. I appreciate the effort, thank God you use your powers for good!

  3. Another tediously identikit anaemic simpering “pretty”. Looks like she spends all day at the mirror and could barely even walk up a flight of stairs.

  4. i dont think thai girls can compare to japanese ..japanese have more feminime and cute features.
thai girls come out looking more masculine. she must be half (cause of her lighter skin).
Ive noticed that alot of the thai celebrities are light skinned as apposed to the locals.

  5. And…she could walk up my flight of stairs any day she likes. I’ll even carry her on my shoulders. SooooWeee!

  6. a lot of Thai’s equate pale skin with beauty, although I think this is common throughout many asian countries, hence the popularity of skin whitening products. It is ironic that western society oftens spends time and money trying to get a tan. As such the celebrities, soap stars are often pale as that is what a large percent of the society deems beautiful.

  7. that appears so, a bit disturbing infact. I would deal with it nonetheless, try to nibble them off or something. It doesn’t seem to be the case in the zoo shoot, which seems more recent, so it may be corrected or airbrushed out…

  8. Here’s the name breakdown for ‘Mew’ Sirilapas Kongtraken
“Mew” is a nickname for informal address. Sirilapas is her given name. Kongtraken is her family name. In Thailand, given names are most often used in formal situations, so she might be called “Sirilapas Kongtraken” or just “Sirilapas” or just “Mew.” Probably not just “Kongtraken.” She’s called herself “Mew Sirilapas” on her facebook page, but nobody I know would use names that way. Maybe they talk like that in Bangkok? I was mostly up north, so habits may differ.
I can’t find any reference to her as Amornpan except in the corner of that picture — where did you find that picture, anyway? I’m not sure it’s part of her name…

That other girl’s name is something like “Day” Pusapah Pinit — but I’m probably mangling it; trying to read Thai gives me a major headache.
When my headache clears, I might go in search of stats.

  9. I think that picture is from an FHM shoot. She was in a thai horror (slasher) flick called Scared. In searching I found her most commonly listed as Amornpan Kongtrakan, with of course Mew as the nickname.

Sirilapas seemed to only be used in Zoo. I think more pictures turn up if you go to google thailand and paste the name in(written in Thai) name in.
I am with you on the reading Thai, it is seriously hard work!
